Embassies and consulates frequently modify their requirements and fees without prior notice, and such changes can take effect immediately. If any service description or information on our site becomes outdated or inaccurate, you hereby agree to hold Portugal Visa harmless.

The processing time for visas and passports, as quoted by Portugal Visa, is approximate and based on the processing times provided by Embassies, Consulates, High Commissions, and the Department of State (issuing authority) under normal circumstances. To calculate the processing time, please start from the next business day after the documents is submitted to the Visa Centre. If you require the Same Day or Next Day processing options, kindly specify this on the order form. For other processing options, the processing time should be calculated starting from the day after the submission of the documents to the issuing authority.
It is important to note that the issuing authority may request further explanations. The issuance of the visa is solely at the discretion of the issuing authority, and their decision is final in determining entry into the country, even if all the prescribed requirements have been met by the applicant. Portugal Visa cannot guarantee that the issuing authority will issue the visa on time and within the specified time frame.
Portugal Visa will not be held responsible for any delays, cancellations, financial losses, or other losses resulting from denial or delay in processing. We regret to inform you that no refunds will be provided for service fees, embassy fees, courier fees, shipping charges, or any portion thereof, due to delays or denial of service.
Upon receiving your passport and original supporting documents from Portugal Visa, it is crucial that you verify the issuance of the requested visa(s). It is important to understand that Portugal Visa cannot be held responsible for any failures or errors on the part of shipping companies, including but not limited to delivery delays, tracking issues, package location, and overall safety. In the United Kingdom, as a Consumer, you possess the legal entitlement to cancel an order or contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations within a cooling-off period of 14 working days. This provision allows you to reconsider your decision or opt out of a purchase for any reason whatsoever. Should you choose to exercise this right, you must inform the supplier of your decision to cancel the order, and in turn, you will be eligible for a refund. To initiate the cancellation process, you may provide a written notification of cancellation to the agent. However, due to the urgent nature of orders placed with Portugal Visa and to ensure the avoidance of potential major consequences resulting from delays, Portugal Visa has implemented a policy of commencing services upon receipt of payment and/or full documentation, even if this occurs before the expiration of the statutory cooling off period. The Consumer explicitly authorizes and acknowledges this arrangement. Consequently, the Consumer may not fully benefit from the cooling off period for orders placed with Portugal Visa and may be held responsible for a portion or the entirety of the fees for services provided by Portugal Visa before the receipt of the Consumer’s cancellation notice. Furthermore, it is important to note that visas are customized to the Consumer’s specific requirements, which may render the cooling off period and right of cancellation inapplicable.
If your passport and supporting documents have been received by Portugal Visa and subsequently submitted for processing prior to cancellation, no refund will be issued. However, if the submission has not yet taken place at the time of cancellation, you will be eligible for a partial refund, which will be calculated as the difference between any fees paid, return shipping charges, and a £15 processing fee. Please note that no refunds will be provided for electronic visas (e-visas) to the following countries: Antigua Barbuda, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Cuba, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gabon, Guinea Bissau, Hong Kong, India, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Lesotho, Malaysia, Moldova, Myanmar, Nigeria, Oman, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Russia, Rwanda, Senegal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United States, US Virgin Islands, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.
If you have not yet shipped your passport and other supporting documents and would like to cancel your application, you will be eligible for a partial refund if your intended destination is Albania, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Central African Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Mauritania, Nepal, New Zealand, Nigeria, Oman, Russia, Saint Kitts Nevis, South Korea, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, or Vietnam. This refund will be equal to the difference between any fees paid and a £15 processing charge. However, if your intended destination is any other country, you will receive a full refund.
To cancel your application, you can either use the Cancel/Delete function in your account while logged in or call our service line. Please note that Portugal Visa is unable to process refunds for credit card payments that are over 3 months old, regardless of the circumstances. In such cases, we may issue a store credit that can be used for future applications submitted through Portugal Visa. Please be aware that this credit cannot be applied to applications submitted through other agencies or directly to consulates.
